Bionic Woman (TV Series) Directors Alex Chapple (main unit) and Andrew Prowse (Second Unit) in an exciting Bionic Woman episode realized the potential of what Team Velocity could provide building on what Team Velocity had already done on the previous Bionic Woman episodes. This allowed Team Velocity to deliver on Alex and Andrew’s vision, to create an exciting, visually stimulating, live action stunt sequence.

Stunt Coordinator Dean Choe and the producers gave us a large latitude of freedom to be creative and again we used our ‘Pathfinder’ and ‘Vector-Cam’ cable cam flying system together. Two 2D vector rigs, one for performer flying and one for camera flying, were controlled on the same computer user interface, allowing separate motion control and synchronization of timing between performer and camera.

The visually powerful effect of using ‘Pathfinder’ and ‘Vector-cam’ cable cam combined were well realized in this episode directed by Alex and Andrew. (Click here for footage)
